AAU Girls Basketball Program

The Heart of Illinois is a newly formed program whose purpose is to provide instruction and competition for young girls in the highest level of basketball; to give young girls the opportunity to meet and play with other top players from Peoria and surrounding communities; to teach responsibility and good sportsmanship; and aid young players in their desire to play at the college level on the court and academically.

Our goal is not to play many games and tournaments,

but to play in the right tournaments that help us to achieve our long-term goals. We are focused on teaching our players high school and college skills, playing the toughest competition, and playing in the areas highest exposure events. We are more concerned with improving and preparing our players the best we can for the next level. In order to fully prepare our players for the next level we are also focused on the importance of performing well in the classroom and being a good person in the community.
