2020 Jr. NBA Skills Challenge 

Heart of Illinois hosted Jr. NBA Skills Challenge for all Central Illinois players at Dunlap Valley Middle School on Friday,January 31st. Participation is FREE. Age divisions are 11U & 13U with ages determined as of August 31, 2020. Open to Boys & Girls. Local competition winners advance to Regionals and Regional Champions advance to Nationals at the NBA Draft (all expenses paid).

CONGRATS to Caroline Holmes for placing 1st in the 2020 Chicago Jr. NBA Skills Challenge 13U Girls Division on February 15th - Caroline has now advanced to compete at Nationals in NYC during NBA Draft Weekend in June.

This marks the second year in a row of our local competition has had a player advance to Nationals with Preston Sledge placing placing 2nd place in the 13U National Competition. Good luck to our local winners who will be competing in upcoming Regional events to earn a spot at Nationals!

Very awesome experience and opportunity please watch for information about our local competition for the 2021 competition!! Those who advance to Nationals win the following: Finalists win an all−expense paid trip to New York City, receive gift bags, attend special events, interact with NBA/WNBA/G−League Players, Legends, & Draftees, and attend the 2020 NBA Draft presented by State Farm.
